Differentiated Innovation:
"Super-combi" Banking Cards: These highly customized and versatile banking solutions harness Watchdata’s leading-edge technology to support different market segments, including mobile payment, EMV, transportation, retail and identification, providing more convenience and options to consumers in making cashless payments.
Dual-Interface (DI) Card: Watchdata is the first smart card vendor to introduce the dual-interface smart card in Asia, combining contact and contactless functionalities for both retail payment and transportation applications. Watchdata’s DI cards are widely used in mass transit, electronic toll collection, access control, and payment as well as in other secure transaction environments.
SIMpass™ Watchdata’s SIMpass™ is a mature mobile payment solution that is widely adopted for commercial deployment. The SIMpass™ solution is available in two form factors: SIMpass™ SIM card with an antenna – no need to replace the mobile phone; SIMpass-SC™ SIM card with embedded antenna – no changes needed on the handset.
URpass™: URpass™ combines the convenience of a contactless smart card with the security of the USB key that supports Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). It enables value-added top-ups via USB and through the Internet.
WatchKEY OCL™:Watchdata developed WatchKEY OCL™ to satisfy the growing threat of online identity theft resulting in fraudulent transactions. It is a single chip plug-and-play USB Key with human-computer interface (HCI) functionality. Multifactor authentication provides added security that confirms the users physical presence as well as his identity.
Quipass® ETC Total Solution: Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) is an electronic payment system widely used to ease traffic jams on highways, bridges and tunnels. With the ETC system, car owners can pay electronically at the toll station without stopping. Watchdata is the sole supplier of Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) solutions in China.
ESAM: Watchdata is leading the way in pre-paid metering with its embedded security access module (ESAM) technology. Users just need to insert one Watchdata’s pre-paid smart card into a meter to use the electricity. Pre-paid metering ensures timely utility fee collection and provides consumers more awareness in saving electricity. Watchdata owns three ESAM patents.
OTA Managed Solutions: Watchdata’s OTA Managed Solutions provide the management of many mobile services, including remote loading and management of various SIM-based applications and the delivery of value-added services to customers via encrypted over-the-air communication. OTA promotes the dynamic and immediate access of information wherever and whenever needed.
